Play Me Hard by Tracy Wolff

2.0

Sebastian becomes a bit too controlling in the third installment of the Play Me serial for my tastes. He turns into a smoother version of Christian Grey. I don't have a problem with alpha male characters normally, but when they start controlling when their girlfriends work/don't work, what they eat, etc etc it becomes too much.

I know that Aria and Sebastian's relationship is consensual, but Sebastian's arrogance is starting to wear thin on me. I know he cares for her, as evidenced by the chapters that we're in his head; I just wish he allowed different actions to show that care.

Aria continues to grow on me with each and every installment. ESPECIALLY in this one when she calls Sebastian out on his bullshit and refuses to be bulldozed by him. She's asking more for what SHE wants and what SHE needs. I heartily applaud her aplomb.
