There are some really interesting ideas in this, and some absolutely beautiful language, but the big reveal is obvious to the reader before we even get to the midpoint which makes Act 2 pretty insufferable. 

It's realistic that the characters haven't made the connection (divided information) but, as a reader, knowing something that far in advance and waiting for the characters to catch up for that long is really frustrating.

Even though the positives are truly very impressive, I'm not connected to any of the characters enough to continue the series. With a few more edits - or a better development tal editor - the series has amazing potential, though.
