Sparkling Cyanide by Agatha Christie

4.0

“Most successes are unhappy. That's why they are successes - they have to reassure about themselves by achieving something that the world will notice.”
- Agatha Christie, Sparkling Cyanide
This was the first ever Agatha Christie book that I have ever read. I love how persuasive this book is. The way Agatha Christie wrote it was spectacular. I loved how every chapter you always change your suspicions on who the killer is, since everyone seems suspicious and it lets us believe that they are the ones who killed Rosemary. But I’m honestly disappointed with the ending since it didn’t surprise me on who the killer is. Despite all of this I still enjoyed reading this book and I would definitely try and read more of her books. I must say I have fallen in love with her writing style and the way she makes the mystery interesting and confusing. My rating for this book would be 4.5/5 stars. If you want to read a quick mystery book this is for you.
