a great book if you're in the mood for a sweet love story. characters are well written but not overly complicated, the plot is simple but well carried out.
i found it a bit hard to catch up with all the characters at first but once you fall into the book's pace it's very easy to relax and follow along the story.
although it is a sexuality-centered narrative, the language is never explicit (in a very nicely done way) - that being said if you don't want to read about gay sex, this is unfortunately not the book for you.
characters are diverse and lovely in their own way. it's not just a story about romantic love but also about parenthood, siblings and found family.
the tone of the story is more often than not fun and light - there's a lot of wittiness and banter and i found myself laughing along a couple times.
i'd definitely re-read it :)
