This is a college hockey romance story. And it was predictable, trope-y, boring and lacked depth. If I actually liked the characters, I might have enjoyed this very formulaic story where my only need was to see them get the happy ending. But I just wasn't invested in the characters. This book mostly just proved the the value of the "show don't tell" advice. Not my cup of tea, but not inedible.
