The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells
3.0
adventurous dark funny medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

The influence of Frankenstein on this book is evident. Griffin fits the mad scientist character to a t, almost as pitiable and significantly more violent than the original. The story flows from chaotic scene to chaotic scene of humorous fights, baffled villager caricatures, and the unfortunate logical consequences of being invisible.
