The It Girl by Ruth Ware

4.0

It takes a lot for a mystery to genuinely surprise me but...well done! I must say, the titular It Girl sounds like such a pain in the ass, I had to knock it down a star because no one would ever be friends with this person. Also, our narrator is so simple, she could not have been granted admittance to the fictional Pelham in the first place. The best parts of the book were those that took place in the past and these parts were absent from the tedious last 200 pages.
