Daisy Haites: The Great Undoing is the 4th book in the Magnolia Parks Universe series. Daisy has moved out of The Compound with her brother and is now living on her own. She’s trying to live the normal life she desperately wants, and that includes dating sexy NCA agent Killian Tiller. She’s also on year 3 of med school. She often thinks of Christian and that leaves her conflicted about her relationship with Tiller. Not to mention that she misses her brother Julian, even though they are mad at each other at the beginning of the book.
This fourth book really ramps up the angst and drama, as well as the suspense. Jessa Hastings has successfully woven together elements of the third book in the series The Long Way Home and this book into a action packed ending. Can’t wait for the next book!
My only complaint is that there are certain phrases that get over used: jaw goes tight, squint, sniffs a laugh, eyes go round, etc that gets used way too frequently. It reminds me of Jennifer L. Armentrout’s uses of some words and/or phrases. It got frustrating to read and took me out of the book. That’s why I couldn’t give it a full 5 stars.
