starts off normal but quickly becomes deeply disturbing. i enjoyed the main character and her connection to music in relation to beauty. i enjoyed exploring themes of beauty through body horror. the ending was wrapped up nicely with the mc accepting her new form, the quote "if i can't look like my parents i don't want to look like anyone at all" really stuck with me.
