Charlie All Night by Jennifer Crusie

4.0

3.5 stars because this isn't Crusie at the top of her game, but it's still Crusie, and I love her. I would've really enjoyed a little more building in the relationship instead of the main characters falling into bed after less than 12 hours of knowing each other. The investigation subplot started off nicely but then it got shoved underneath the puppy story and then quickly wrapped up at the end.

And Mark, the "villain" wasn't crazy enough or maniacal enough. He was just an idiot.

Just the same, the book had some great laugh out loud moments, and it was an enjoyable light read.
