I love this book I ain't gonna lie but the reason for not giving it 5 stars is because of the little annoyance that I felt with Kennedy but it soon vanished after reading more about her character. Well, she is a complicated character and the reason she is like this is because of her past experiences. It felt like she was trying to protect herself and it was okay to feel selfish to protect your peace and heart but hey, you can't blame me for having a soft side for Isaiah. My heart wrenches whenever that sunshine feels hurt, that guy practically wears his heart on his sleeve and it pains me so much to see him masking his emotions because he doesn't want others to see it. But now this sunshine gets his sunshine protector and I love it sooo much <<<3333.
During the second half of the book I was waiting for a heartbreak or a third ac breakup but it didn't come and thank god for that because if there was one I'd practically say goodbye to the world and will wallow under my blanket and won't come out until one whole fucking week.
Isaiah is the most whipped male lead of this series and I so bloody love him, his shit-eating grin, his teasing, his imperfections, his heart everything.
