Out of Love by Hazel Hayes

2.0

2.5 - I’m so frustrated with this book. There are passages that are breathtaking, and the premise is so interesting. However, there’s a self-insert vibe that I couldn’t get past and there were some curious narrative choices made by the author that had be scratching my head.

I adore Hazel, but this book just wasn’t it for me. I think I will try her writing again if she ends up writing another novel, but I will be wary going into it.

Also, what the heck are ‘not-insignificant hips’???
