I adored this book and it's warm, light-hearted theme. There were magic pigs, fireflies, wolves, and mysterious weather phenomenon, yet the story's focus remains on the characters' lives, which are always just as "magical" as the supernatural. To add an extra layer of intrigue, the unique way that Weylan is the story's protagonist, but not the narrator worked to further punctuate the book's folklore tone.
