Emma was supposed to be at school, instead she spent the day chasing down a siren with her bestfriend/crush in a magical world filled with unicorns and other magical creatures. Yeah, I wouldn't have gone to school either.
I was so suprised at how quickly I finished this, even though it's a novella I finished the book faster than I thought I would.
Emma was a likeable character, from the beginning we know that she's had this crush on Jason for a long time and throughout the book I kept wanting them to get together.
They had a pretty wacky adventure and things happened fast, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around why certain events happened.
Like how did Angelina find out about the magical world? I'm assuming before Emma did. And what is Jason? If he's not human.

But I loved Gruff and Taylon. I thought Taylon was cute and I found Gruff to be funny for a grumpy dwarf.
Overall, I thought this was a good story. It had adventure, romance, humour and was an entertaining read.
Thanks to Rita Webb for providing me with a free copy :)
