Blood Promise
by Richelle Mead
*4.5*
The first half of this book was a bit slow and dragged, so it wasn't until after that intro portion that things really picked up. I also got tired of Lissa being portrayed as weak once again, I mean man that girl goes through a lot of people trying to deceive, manipulate or kill her- it's either one or the other, or all three. I wish Richelle Mead would have made her character a bit more strong, and I guess towards the ending I saw that she tried to do that but I mean without Rose's help. Also, with Rose being one of the elite guardians for her age I felt as though she would have caught on to a couple of more things than she did. And I can't forget about Dimitri! UGH. His whole situation just kills me, his transformation and the things he said to Rose, I just couldn't sometimes- WHY?! Have to see if there's any hope left, so on to the next one!
