This was a really beautiful and engrossing story.  The prologue and first chapter drew me straight in to the whirlwind meeting between the gorgeous Poppy and Laird, but by chapter 2 the author was already breaking my heart.  Jump ahead 2 years and Poppy and Laird are not the same people, and their next meeting takes a very different turn.  The angst and heartache I experienced for the first third of the book was intense, but as soon as Laird figures out what happened in the past, the book turns into a rollercoaster ride of scorching chemistry, intense and unconditional love, difficult setbacks and totally swoony moments.  This is the first book I've read from this author, but I really enjoyed the writing style, the brave and unique storyline and the incredibly likeable and engaging characters, and I look forward to reading more.
