This book was pure romance! The American Roommate Experiment by Elena Armas is the second book in the Spanish Love Deception series. It's a standalone book. Rosie is a romance author and lost her creative touch. When her best friend's cousin comes to New York they work out a plan in which Lucas helps Rosie finding her romantic touch again. What can go wrong on experimental dates, when both find each other attractive?

After reading and loving The Spanish Love Deception, I knew I had to read Elena Armas other books as well. And I fell in love with this one as well. This book is the total opposite of The Spanish Love Deception. It's slow-burn (no kissing until like page 300 or so!!), a little bit of fake-dating and incredibly romantic. Everyone needs a Lucas! He goes out of the way to make Rosie comfortable and to help her with her new book. He is the nicest. I loved reading about Lina and Aaron again. And I loved the pits and pieces of Spanish throughout the book. The book just made me feel so happy and warm.

With all my heart, I can highly recommend this book! Elena Armas is a wonderful author. This book was so romantic, I sometimes couldn't cope. It made me feel giddy. I can't wait to read her other books!
