i absolutely adored this romance. beautiful love story - a childhood friends to lovers, second chance romance, book lover romance. sooo many tropes i absolutely adored. the shifting timelines built the suspense and tension so well making the conflict not only integral to the resolution of the romance but also a key part of the storytelling. each character had their own complex relationship with love and grief and relationships and that made it all the more beautiful to read
