I really loved this book until the last 15%. It didn't totally lose me and overall I enjoyed the novel, but the ending did take its toll a bit. It felt like a cop out that Luke was "good" and in hiding for the seven years. For a decent chunk, I did think he was in hiding but due to him being in a crime family against his will, not a casual victim of a wrong place wrong time, and that would have really sold it for me. The thing I enjoyed the most I think was Charlie was a baddie! It took me a little bit by surprise and wish we had had more time exploring that tension.
