All My Love by Morgan Elizabeth

dark emotional slow-paced

3.5

3.5 / 4 stars

I feel like the further you got into the story the more it builds. I wanted to love this but the somberness and past to present writing was so depressing it I just felt like it was this black cloud until you got to the last 30%

Stella and Riggs’ story is one that is so emotional, it takes you on a roller coaster that leaves you rooting for Riggs one minute and maybe not so much the next. I did enjoy the road it took to bring Riggs and Stella back to each other in the right headspace with this second chance romance. This book definitely centered more on Stella and her journey. So, I would have liked just a bit more on Riggins story.

I loved the family feel the band had! I wish we got more of those things and when things came full circle their life on the road. All the band mates seemed so supportive of both of them and their family ties were something special!

I loved Morgan’s Big Nick Energy how it was funny, sweet and light-hearted. This one was completely different from anything I’ve heard about her style; it was raw, real, and intense. Definitely a sad girl book with heavy mental health references, so prepare!
