The Edens is definitely one of my favourite romance series. I can’t decide yet where I would put this book because I love all of them so much but this was so so good.
The murder mystery along with Vance and Lyla’s blooming chemistry were the perfect combination. And don’t even get me started on that cliffhanger at the end for Matteo’s book. There’s just something wholesome about this family and while there are something that I don’t like about them, you can’t ignore how they would go to the ends of the world for one another.
But I’m also glad this was more Lyla-centric and less family involved. My girl needed her time to shine and she definitely got that. Vance had me swooning all the freaking time and after reading ‘The Right Move’ by Liz Tomforde there’s just something about the nickname ’Blue’ that has me blushing (said the girl with brown eyes lol).
Another thing that I adored about this book was the plot twist and how heartbreaking it was. Tears were shed, people and that doesn’t happen very often! Congrats to the author for another amazing addition to the series, can’t wait for the last book! Definitely recommend!!
