”And I get it. As much as I hate him… I think I’m starting to like us.”
This was such a fun, quick, summer-y read. I’ve been struggling my way through some books for the past couple of days, so I needed something simple, cute and fun to get me out of that rut. And this book did it.
Because it’s ridiculous. And I loved it.
The whole concept of someone so incredibly unlucky winning a once-in-a-lifetime trip with her nemesis is hilarious to me. Basically everything I needed.
With that said, it was hard at times to suspend my disbelief with this book. Because even though it’s a romance and it’s established that the characters have known (and hated) each other for years, the hate to love happens in a matter of days. Days. And then they’re completely head over heels for each other. Yeah.
Still, it was a really fun, really cute read.
