Lucifer Book Two by Mike Carey

Excellent. Really excellent. Lucien goes from strength to strength as a series. The plots get bigger, the characters further developed.

As a spin off from Sandman, this had a lot to live up to. It achieves that spectacularly. Now all I have to do is wait for my birthday to get book 3!
