Ugh, this book gave me major feelings. Eva and Shane deserve all the happiness in the world, and I was rooting for them from page 1. I read most of this book over the course of an extremely long plane flight, then finished it this morning when I couldn't sleep due to jet lag, so not the most coherent review. But I'm so happy they found each other. Definitely review content warnings before going in if that's important for you, I found some scenes very hard to read.
Graphic: Addiction, Alcoholism, Chronic illness, Drug abuse, Self harm, Violence, Vomit, and Alcohol
Moderate: Confinement, Death, Gun violence, Physical abuse, Police brutality, and Medical content
Most content warnings apply to flashbacks, so you do know that the characters are in a better place in present day. But it's still pretty explicit.
