I was a little apprehensive about this book at first, because I absolutely adore Fried Green Tomatoes and was worried this wouldn't live up to it, but I'm so glad I picked it up. Going back into the world of Ruth, Idgie and the Whistle Stop Cafe was just wonderful, and getting more of an insight to other Whistle Stop residents was just lovely to read. With short and sweet chapters jumping back and forth between and 1930s and the 2010s and years in between, it was a quick and enjoyable read.
