Fake It!

I loved Avery and Holly they had such great chemistry and being in a restaurant setting was something I haven’t seen before!

Fake It follows the story of Avery, a trans woman, who had just opened up her restaurant, Paramour, but she’s struggling to get patrons into her doors. When a smarmy restaurant tycoon decides to target her restaurant, she teams up with Holly Madison, a celebrity chef. Together they resolve to take down this horrible man by having Avery on her tv show and in a twist of fate pretend to date.

This was such a fun read! The banter between Holly and Avery was TOP notch. I fucking loved it. Fun spicy scenes and fake dating. It’s a great match. I loved Avery’s character a lot. She was so bold and strong. She never was afraid to stand up for herself and others and I loved watching that. Such a badass.

Also note: this author is a trans woman as well and has other books that you should check out too!

Overall, 4.25 ⭐️ - great fun and sexy but too long. There’s lots of unnecessary lead up and it took me like 150 pages to really get into but once you’re in the thick of the plot and romance - it’s hard to put down! Also, I really really do not like that cover. It’s just… not good
