Fathomfolk by Eliza Chan

Did not finish book. Stopped at 28%.

I think all of the reasons I decided to DNF this book ultimately just come down to the writing. I think it was an interesting concept, and thanks to Illumicrate I have a beautiful copy of this book, but it just wasn't enough for me. None of the characters particularly grabbed my attention and I don't think I could really tell you what the plot was meant to be because after 100 pages it still didn't really seem to be going anywhere. There were too many unexplained types of folk whose differences were never distinguished and the atmosphere of the world just didn't really feel like it was there for me.
