The Labors of Hercules by Agatha Christie

3.0

While some of these stories were incredibly clever, offering excellent twists and surprisingly vivid characters (surprising given the short number of pages Christie had to develop them), other stories fell flat as they were both predictable and simply not compelling. It's a collection worth reading - particularly if you're an avid fan of Christie's work - but it definitely doesn't rank among her best.
