Amazing, my heart still hurts from this one
Grab your Kleenex, this one is a tear jerker. An Emotionally honest, raw account of a terminal cancer journey. Ava reflects on her life as she comes to the end of her journey. This was such an inspiring read, as this woman knew her end was near she was still embracing life, having amazing adventures, living life to the fullest and finding the love of her life when she least expected to.
Since she was a little girl all Ava dreamed of was the lavish wedding she envisioned. Now she realizes this may never happen with her returning cancer, she won't have time to find someone to love and spend the rest of her life with the way she always dreamed. What if she has a wedding while she's still alive, a celebration of her life, all her closest friends and family, the "wedding"of her dreams. Can Ava afford it? that's why you have friends right? One friend posts on social media telling her story and seeking assistance. Then a magazine picks the story up for an article. This one article turns into a series following her on her terminal cancer journey to her wedding. Ava unsure, reluctantly agrees. Much to Ava's surprise she finds a budding friendship with the photographer, James that turns into a relationship. Does James really know what he's getting into, is he prepared to watch Ava die. This heart wrenching, thought provoking love story of finding love in the last moments of your life was such a hard read, but so beautifully written, I wiould highly recommend.
