People Kill People by Ellen Hopkins

2.0

Honestly disappointed in Ellen Hopkins for this one. I am a dedicated Hopkins fan, hopelessly devoted to all of her books. Of course this book touches on a very political subject, which I am usually very disinterested in. HOWEVER, it had potential and I am disappointed that it didn't live up to the full potential that it could have. The ending just made me roll my eyes instead of shock me or make me cry or have any emotions typical of an Ellen Hopkins ending.

I feel Hopkins had an opportunity to touch on intense subjects and perhaps open the door for us to see inside multiple different perspectives when it comes to opinions on guns, instead she used this book to shamelessly push an agenda and whether or not I agree with it, it came off as incredibly lame and overall very dumb, in my opinion.
