Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare

2.0

This is easily the worst book I’ve read in her collection.

The constant jumps between character’s POV and the overuse of dialogue to substitute for plot made this painful and confusing to read. Not to mention it could have been at least 300 pages shorter without losing any actual plot points.

She has 2 more books being released this year, and I feel like she either has ghost writers helping heavily or she is trying to write too many different books at once.

Overall, if you like the Shadowhunters world you obviously have to read it so you know what happened, but it doesn’t mean that it’s enjoyable.
