This book was somewhat confusing. I had no idea what was going on half the time. I don't know if this is a case of “it's not you, it's me” or not but I found the story hard to follow. The characters were fine, but none of them really stood out to me. I felt like this book needed more explanation or context to make it great. Overall I thought the concept was good but it didn't immerse me in the story and I didn't really care what was happening. There are some exciting parts, but there was just something missing to make this book engaging and exciting. I know there are readers that are going to love this one! Sad for me because I thought this was going to be a 5 star read. Wahhhh.
