HEIRESS AMONG THIEVES by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka
Thank you Netgalley and Little Brown for the earc (Jun 24)
Olivia and her gang are back and ready for another heist.
When she receives an invitation to her grandmother's birthday party, she sets her plan into motion..It's supposed to be easy: get in, open the vault get out. However, Olivia's family is harboring dark secrets and an even darker legacy.
I ended up liking this better than the first. Something about it just spoke to me. This book was more than a heist. It was woven with a mystery that was only half solved, leaving room for another book.
This book left me shocked. It just kept giving with new twists around every corner adding to the action of this. I never knew what would happen next, which added to the thrill.
Throughout this book, there were a few times where I rooted for the wrong characters (sorry, I just loved Olivia and Tom'd banter). There were also times where their likeability dwindled...ahem, that last chapter. Those revelations left me baffled and ready for more...
