Stone Blind by Natalie Haynes

dark emotional sad

4.0

Even though the focus wasn't so much on Medusa as I expected, I really enjoyed this book. It's a bit jumpy with all the different narrators and short chapters, but the I feel like these aspects add to the story, rather than take away from it. It packs a very emotional punch, and I love how it consistently questions our preconcieved notions of heroes and monsters. I also enjoyed how the majority of characters are complex and fleshed out, especially some of the immortals.
