chilloutgrace 's review for:
Confess
by Colleen Hoover
Happy 2 am! Shoutout to my therapist for recommending this to me after I finished Verity.
I have not been this addicted to an author's catalog since The Hunger Games. And I read those in 5th grade. I'm 22.
Is it carefully written? No. Is it flawless? Hell no. Does it tell a good story? Absolutely. 5 stars from me.
I feel like Confess is Hopeless's cousin, in a way. The two have very similar tropes and vibes overall.
I will also eat up anything that paints cops in a bad light.
I think I might take a break from her books though for a little bit because they are so intense. We'll see what I read in the meantime, though. Very tired though so this review is short and to the point.
