I’m definitely reading this series out of order, that’s just because some synopsis appeal to me more than others but boy am I glad I read this one first. The covers of this series put me off these books for so long because it was giving like wattpad covers and I just absolutely hate real people on covers so much, but i’m so glad the writing and the book was ACTUALLY good.

I read this in one sitting, I just couldn’t get enough of Shane and Ilya. I absolutely loved their dynamic, loved the format of the flashbacks and seeing everything lead up to present day. I’m not a huge fan of smut, and this book had a lot, but the book actually being written really well overshadowed it for me and I think the banter between Shane and Ilya was my favourite thing and of course their chemistry too. I will definitely be jumping to the sequel of their story i’m not gonna lie after reading this but i’m going to be kinda sad to finish their story arc lol.
