Right away in the intro our attention is drawn to Nazi Germany and how post WW2 German citizens made excuses for why they joined the party and how, while they didn't condone he Nazi's actions, there really was a Jewish problem. The comparison to the US and immigrant workers is so obvious it might as well hit you on the nose.
This book was hard to read and at the same time hard to put down. It draws attention to the flaws, the injustices, the exploitations of the systems of each type of job described. Its educational, and it will make you really think.
