Any book that makes me cry this much gets an automatic minimum of 4.5-stars. Descriptions of death & grief literally & figuratively took my breath away. Would be 5-stars but the writing felt slow at times (esp in flash backs) & style took me a while to get into - found it too impersonal initially, but got over this & really connected to Agnes by the end. The final line was a gut punch & I am now scouring the internet for productions Hamlet near me.
