this series is so fun!!!!!! although i didn’t like this one quite as much as the first, it was still a joy to read! i enjoyed the enemies to lovers, “he was going to kill you but couldn’t do it” aspect. i also appreciate how she jumps right into the story and doesn’t drag out their coupling in these stories! it’s a really nice progression that is satisfying and keeps me hooked. i think this couple’s chemistry was slightly toned down once they got together, especially considering how they met. the romance aspect just felt a little too blasé and vanilla for such strong-willed characters. but again, the plot was so fun and engaging and i really enjoyed both MCs !
