I was so excited to pick up The Villains series this year and once again I was absolutely floored by Winter. The portrayal of Michelle's self-loathing was really intense in both books, making these novels the darkest in tone in Winter's opus. Eden's character and her sweet and innocent ways were so endearing, it wasn't surprising she managed to melt even The Fixers' infamous CEO's icy heart.
