there were a lot of patterns in the author’s style that bothered me, and lila was my least favorite of the main cast unfortchies. i almost dnf’d like 30 minutes in bc the writing style and humor were Not For Me but i really enjoyed the story. like a hallmark murder mystery and i mean that as a compliment
