Let’s get one thing out of the way:
Feyre is exhausting
and insufferable.

She spends half the book mortified about not being able to read or write, but somehow has no issue acting like a complete fool on a daily basis 🙃 The logic isn’t logic-ing.

That said, I would like to make clear that: even if it doesn’t look like.. 😂 I did liked the book! Very much.

I understand that this was the base of the whole series and this book needed to be what it was in order for everyone to understand what the hell is going on 😂

The pace was great, the writing actually surprised me for being a book a decade older.. and the plot it’s actually pretty amazing.

The characters were introduced very well, and you REALLY get to know them, even if it seems like they don’t say much, watching them through Feyre’s eyes was enough. Gotta say, Tamlin seemed cute for a moment but I have my thoughts about him and I don’t know but I can’t stand the guy anymore 😅 And Feyre… well I’ve already layered my thoughts at the beginning but let me add that I think I do understand where she comes from with her character, she just needs to develop a bit more, to forge a strong character.

I really cannot wait to know Rhys better.

So here I am: deep in my fantasy era. Something I never, in a million years, thought I’d say 🙃 Enjoy it while it lasts 😂
