Took me a hot second to get fully engrossed, but jeez I’ll be thinking about this ending for a long time to come. Emily Henry wrote these three main characters (Alice, Hayden, and Margret) to be fully fleshed out individuals, adding a depth of emotion that made me break into tears while riding the Amtrak (Margret talking about her sister, and Alice talking with her mom). The biographical story gathering and element of mystery in that story is very similar to “Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo”, but also mixed with Emily Henry’s beautiful love stories. Enjoyed this read more than I expected to!
