On Thin Ice
by L.A. Cotton
Mason is one sexy grump but Harper knows how to handle him perfectly!!!!
I was lucky enough to have an ARC copy of this book and I'm leaving an honest review with my own opinions. I highly recommend this entire series if you like hockey romance and sexy as all get up college guys.
Mason our hockey star with an attitude has a lot going on in his life, mainly his responsibility for his younger brother Scottie who has autism. He gets it into his head that with Scottie, dealing with his family priorities and hockey he doesn't have time or energy for a girl...enter Harper Dixon into his life. His best friends girlfriends best friend...his new coach's daughter...his brother's favorite volunteer at his autism center...talk about complicated.
There are so many moments in this book where I wanted to slap Mason. I mean he really knows how to play the Asshole Card but the layers to his grumpiness unfold seamlessly as time goes on. I loved watching Harper and Mason struggle with everything they each have going on and then deal with the fight and tension with one another.
Mason takes the cake for me in the Lakeshore U boys by far!
