I thought I'd give this is chance and apparently it hooked me because I started it yesterday!  
I feel like I'm finally starting to care about the MMC. To be honest though, I'm not outraged with this new love interest for our FMC... ill-fated as it seems I'm maybe cheering for them. We'll see! 
I'm immediately starting the third book.
