petulantchildofgod 's review for:
Ten
by Gretchen McNeil
I became interested in this book because it had a similar plot to And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. That is one of my favorite books, so I had very high hopes.
This book is very similar in certain respects to Agatha Christie's novel. But the cast of characters are teenagers in this one. Half the time, I was annoyed with the MC, the other half, my heart was pounding in my chest. Most of the time, I really wanted to punch MC's best friend.
It's full of teen angst and love triangles, maybe rectangles. I did not see the twist at the end, and that is the main reason why I'm giving this book three stars. I like the way it ended.
If you like Agatha Christie's novel, I would recommend this book. But go into it knowing that it is the teenage version.
