I'm in tears and I can't decide if my grief or happiness is the most prominent reason. Of course I'm not going to spoil anything, but I will tell you I'm going crazy.
HOW COULD ALEXANDRA DO THIS TO ME?
She can't just end both books with me losing something/someone I loved it's just cruel!
That being said I am beyond happy about the literal ending (meaning what's uncovered in the last page.)
I'll be honest though, I wasn't totally into it at the beginning. It seems like a trend with these books. I'm not super interested in it, but once I get deeper, I can't stop. It seemed to me the whole book was just going to be tense and heart-wrenching, that it was never going to settle down for even a chapter. At first, that was daunting to me, I didn't want to feel bad the whole time, I wanted some hope!
I will admit the book is intense, you need to be ready for some crying, and agitation, but it's worth it all in the end.
I couldn't be happier with the book as a whole and I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book. Really all I have to say about that is: if there is a cover change I will personally yell at anyone who had anything to do with it. :)
