I have mixed feelings about this book. Instead of being a "tell all" style case study book, Josh Fletcher gives his readers a view into his thouhts throughout his sessions, providing a unique insight into his therapis approach. He labels the voices in his head, and gives his full thought process space on the page. It is an appraoch that I found myself torn over - it is somehow both admirably open and vulnerable, while also being very cringe. I appreciate what Fletcher is doing with the writing, but I didn't get into the flow of it. That being said, I can see me rereading this book. So it clearly it wasn't so bad!
Graphic: Child death, Grief
Moderate: Domestic abuse, Rape, Self harm, Religious bigotry, Murder
