Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
5.0
I just loved Eleanor, and she is not completely fine. She had a traumatic youth, and blocked it from her memory thinking that was the best way to deal with it. This affects her later in adulthood in a major way. My heart just ached for her. Eleanor is quirky, odd, lonely, socially awkward and sometimes pretty hilarious. There's a beautiful story about friendship, a journey of personal growth, and the daunting task of dealing with mental illness.
I couldn't put it down. Done in 2 days. A few things resonated with me about Eleanor, and I just have to recommend it.
