Stupid twist slams head agaisnt wall
completely undermines the main villians entire character arc just for the sake of a surprising ending
I feel like they knew that the one interesting part of the book was francis and wanted to bring him back... Graham really had no character in this book, which is disappointing because its clear Thomas Harris has a real talent for characterization.
He kept telling us things about Will, how he knows murder well, how he can imagine himself in horrible people's situations.
But he barely shows us this. Which is probably why film adaptations of these books are a lot more successful in making Graham a interesting character
Really loved Francis until the very end though, completely ruined him and im sooo pissed about it btw.
